The Guilford County Department of Public Health is alerting residents that on Tuesday, January 13, 2009, a skunk found on Polonia Court in Browns Summit, the northeastern area of the county, tested positive for the rabies virus. This is the first case of rabies in Guilford County this year.  A dog had contact with the rabid skunk; there was no human contact.  (more…)
