           Guilford County Department of Public Health is alerting residents that a skunk found in the 7700 block of Sun Valley Lane in Summerfield tested positive for the rabies virus on October 25, 2011.  The rabid skunk had contact with two dogs.   This is the sixteenth case of animal rabies in Guilford County this year.

           Guilford County Department of Public Health is alerting residents that a skunk found in the 6103 block of Oak Wind Drive in Gibsonville (outside the town limits) tested positive for the rabies virus on October 11, 2011.  The rabid skunk had contact with one dog.   This is the fifteenth case of animal rabies in Guilford County this year.            Guilford County Department of Public Health is alerting residents that a skunk found in the 7000 block of Highway 61 North in Gibsonville (outside the town limits) tested positive for the rabies virus.  The rabid skunk had contact with two dogs.   This is the fourteenth case of animal rabies in Guilford County this year.
