As swimming season approaches, the Guilford County Department of Public Health would like to remind residents that May 21 to May 27, 2012 is National Recreational Water Illness and Injury (RWII) Prevention Week.       The Guilford County Department of Public Health is alerting residents that a raccoon found on Breen Drive in Liberty tested positive for the rabies virus on May 8, 2012.  This is the third case of confirmed rabies in 2012.  The raccoon had contact with one dog. (more…)
