Since 1937, the County has continually invested in aerial photography and other mapping; this investment is significant in both financial and historical terms. In an effort to preserve this information and to make it accessible in today’s environment we have begun the task of converting these paper copy maps and photos over to a digital format that is viewable using modern tools. We are working with UNCG on several aspects of this project.

As this project evolves, these images will be available through an interactive viewer on our website and they will be downloadable.
