A Groundwater Monitoring Network has been established since 2002 for long-term monitoring of the groundwater table changes in Guilford County. The location of the wells can be viewed in the county map.
Depths of water table at all stations as of December 22, 2011 have been compiled. The groundwater table change at each station (as of December 22, 2011) can be obtained by clicking each station [ Gibson Park, Hagan Stone Park, Knox Road, Monticello-Browns Summit School, Prison Farm, Station 45 (Humble Road), Triad Park, and Summefield (Jack Dent Park)]. The depths of water table measured with a tape or a digital water level meter for all stations show the overall pattern of groundwater table change in the county.

The depth of groundwater tables at these stations will be downloaded quarterly. Because some probes have encountered some problems, we are missing records for some time periods.
The status report for the network as
of February 2007 can be downloaded for your review. If you have any
comments, please contact the HERA Team.
