We’re looking for good temporary homes where foster children can live with a family, play with friends, go to school, feel loved and wanted, and learn to feel secure.
The essence of foster care is the foster parents’ sensitivity to the special needs of children who are hurting from the loss of their own families. In many respects, foster care is like caring for one’s own children. Foster parents sign report cards, attend PTA meetings, attend religious, educational and medical appointments, and give permission for activities like visiting friends and going on dates.
