Guilford County Parks and Open Spaces Wants Residents Participation in Needs Assessment Survey
and
Public Meetings to Gather Information for Updating the County's Parks and Recreation Master Plan |
Guilford County residents have an opportunity to help plan the future of Guilford County Parks and Open Spaces. The Guilford County Parks and Open Space Division is conducting a needs assessment survey and holding four public meetings. |
|
The purpose of the needs assessment is to assess the current and future leisure interests and preferences of county residents. Data obtained from the survey will be used by Guilford County to guide the development of future programs and facilities. |
The needs assessment will focus on parks (areas designated for passive and active recreation), and open spaces (lands suitable for preservation and education). |
|
The survey should take approximately five to eight minutes to complete. Please respond by December 31, 2009. |
Your participation in the needs assessment survey is essential to the development of Guilford County parks and open space.
Thank you in advance for your participation. Also, please find the meeting dates below. |
