Option Screen for the New Plat System

The Register of Deeds is in the process of replacing the existing plat interface with a new enhanced application. A transition period has been incorporated into the switchover and during this period both systems will be available. Each interface can be accessed through this screen by using the buttons below. Click on the button on the left to go to the existing interface and click on the button on the right to access the new interface. The new interface, created in conjunction with the Information Services and GIS Departments, provides the ability to search for plats using the plat title, a street name within the plat, and by using a Guilford County Subdivision Case number. If you are having any problems running the new system, first be sure that you have Java enabled in your browser. If you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer, follow these steps:

Open your "Tools" option on the top menu bar in Internet Explorer.
Select the option "Internet Options".
Click on the "Advanced" tab.
Scroll down the options using the "Scroll Bar" on the right side of the display.
Make sure that either Sun Java is checked as enabled, or that the Microsoft VM option is enabled.
Click OK.
